Bad Battery is an imaginary game development studio created by James Kersey. Started in 1986 as “Transcendial Software”, it took a couple of decades for him to learn enough about game programming to create his first 2D game.

After hitting dead-ends and feeling unfulfilled pursuing several career paths (including t-shirt sales, pizza delivery, after-hours microchip inspection, and financial system architecture design), James decided to settle down and just make stuff that works in a web browser.
